Tau Kwa is made by coagulating soymilk to create curds. The curds are then pressed and compacted into the gelatinous white blocks recognized as tofu. It has a low moisture content and is good for soups and stir-fried.

Health Benefits

It has a high protein content and is low in fat. Food manufacturers usually fortify it with calcium. Tau Kwa is also an important source of protein for many vegetarians and vegans.
