Description
Cod has a very mild, milky flavor. Its texture is nice and flaky, but it’s firm enough to stand up well to baking and broiling. Since it’s a milder fish, we like to add flavor with citrus, herbs or spices. Cod will cook in under 15 minutes; it’s done when it flakes at the touch of a fork.

Cod is a good source of omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids. It is also rich in vitamins B12 and B6, niacin, as well as vitamins E, A, and C. It is a good source of phosphorus, potassium, selenium, and other trace minerals.
